Uma Breve Análise da tradução da obra quanto ao Uso das Modalidades.  O objetivo deste trabalho é superficialmente analisar, de acordo com as linhas teóricas estudadas durante as aulas ministradas na disciplina “Prática de Tradução Literária a Análise da Língua Fonte e Alvo, a tradução publicada do texto “The Unicorn in the Garden” de James Thurber.  Pretendemos destacar aspectos quanto ao uso de diferentes modalidades nos textos traduzidos, discutir sobre o posicionamento das palavras nas frases traduzidas, como também destacar algumas especificidades em relação a estrutura do conto. Além disso buscaremos mostrar alguns aspectos relevantes sobre o uso da linguagem para se comunicar e como isso se reflete na fala traduzidas dos personagens desse conto.
